Problem with Spotify clearing synced songs after phone restart. Not retaining any memory. iPhone 5.

If I have to restart my phone or my phone's battery dies Spotify does not retain any of the songs that I downloaded for use when offline. This only has become a problem since newest app update were released. I have had no issue with it up until this point. There is no problem with having enough memory or anything like that. This is the only issue that I've had.
