Problems with the save system

Problems with the save system

Ever since I updated the Spotify app on my iPhone I've had this problem: new albums I've saved to my music after the update won't stay saved - whenever the app closes any new music I've saved is no longer in my music. This also results in music I had synced offline disappearing. I'm posting this on the iOS board since it started happening following the latest iPhone update, but it also happens when I use Spotify on my computer, where the music also doesn't stay saved, or apparently doesn't get saved at all.

 

This is making it kind of a hassle for me to listen to music I didn't already have saved, which fits poorly with my listening habits. What exactly is the problem here, and how can I solve it?

The support contact form offers very limited options and I can't find one that helps with my problem.

 

I've tried installing and uninstalling the iPhone app, which sadly did not help at all.

Select an option that best fits, even if it is not correct.

I am having the same problem with both the iPod ios  and my Kindle Fire HD app.  I am a new subscriber and I signed up for the premium service.  So far I am unimpressed.  I never thought I would say it, but I am beginning to miss Amazon Prime!  I was really wanting to be happy with Spotify, because I have been really disappointed in Amazon Prime.  😞
