Spotify desyncing offline albums?

After this newest update, there have been two occasions on which Spotify has desynced 1-2 gigabytes worth of music. I would check my phone, and suddenly no albums were listed as being available offline. Is this a noted issue? Any solutions?

I have a free version. In publicity, Spotify says that if you don't pay, you'll have shuffle play mode on your phone, but not in your Pc or your tablet. But in my iPad,I only have shuffle play mode... Why??
