Re: No Back Button on Android lock Screen? Why????

Re: No Back Button on Android lock Screen? Why????

Not only for repeating songs, but particularly on newer iPhones that don’t have the home button anymore, it’s way easier to accidentally hit buttons (I.e. accidentally skip forward)...

and in my case pulling down does nothing, you just see a picture of the album and can scroll through the song but it still has three lines.  When you click that it just has options to remove from library or dislike the song.

which is actually weird because one complaint about a Spotify update I had was that you could no longer dislike songs that appeared in your daily mix so they keep playing and ruining the algorithm.  A self perpetuating cycle cause by not disliking or skipping quickly enough it thinks you like it.  Now in the app you can only like and on the control center you can only dislike...lol great...

Hey there @nocho895,

Thanks for getting in touch about this.

We've moved your post to a more relevant board since the old topic was for Android devices.

First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

If this doesn't do the trick, we suggest that you make sure that there aren't any cache clearing or battery optimization apps/settings running for Spotify in your phone.

If the issue persists, could you send us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end so we can take a closer look?

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
