My account had this real time lyrics feature for a few months (March-June) before I noticed it missing early July. I had since waiting for the feature to come back but no luck with each updates, so I decided to search things up and find that it’s a new Spotify account that has the feature. So, I did. I made another free account to test, AND THERE THE FEATURE IS. The weird thing is, when I logged back in into my old account, the feature is still there! Amazing, isn’t it? Yes, but not until you fully close the app and noticed it’s missing, again. In order to gain back the feature, I must logged in into my free account and back into my old account. My exact point: why did I, as a four (almost five) years old user is not getting the feature while the newer accounts does? I have asked but the answer is still that old “we’re making changing so you might not so what your friends see blablabla” trash. I want the lyrics feature on my old account back! That’s all! And anyway, your lyrics used to be much better old way when you can click on the lyrics button to see it, not scrolling down below the song. Liked the font better now, though.

Currently this feature is still in the testing stages so not everyone on those markets where it's available.

If you would like this feature to be officially available to all Spotify users, I'd suggest supporting this Live Idea letting Spotify know.

According to Spotify Indonesia the lyrics feature should be in production there and not in testing:

Yes! Thank you for replying. This is why I'm super frustrated as I was able to see lyrics even way before it was officially launching in Indonesia but somehow after that they decided to put me out. I was able to see lyrics from desktop app though, as I think it's still a feature test?

To be honest I’m not surprised. For example I’ve been waiting for the iOS app’s new homescreen layout for about 6 months. Their official support is pretty much useless. If resetting the “offline cache” doesn’t fix it then they just tell you that they’re “looking into it” and that they’ll get back to you but they never fix it nor get back to you.

AGREE. I hate being told the same answer over and over without actually answering the question. I mean I paid for the stuffs so why don't let me see the same things as everyone else, right? Too bad I love spotify too much to move sides over.
