Restarting Spotify App removes downloaded songs

Restarting Spotify App removes downloaded songs

Hi,

I have an iphone 5c, running ios v 9.3.4.  I've have the spotify app installed and downloaded all of my songs in my library using the download toggle switch.  I see the green arrows beside each song which should mean they are downloaded.

Turning the offline switch on in spotify's settings, and the songs will play offline fine.  However,  after restarting the app, I find that none of my songs are playable in offline mode... I'd rather not keep the app running all the time as it uses more battery.  Not sure if this is an intended feature or a bug.

Another thing to note.. As I'm downloading songs, I've checked my storage and I can indeed see the size of the spotify app increasing.. presumably using space for each downloaded song.  Restating the app, and checking the storage, the size of the app decreases back to its original size when first installed. (

Thanks!

Hi, this clearly seems like a bug that I experience a few months ago. I solved this by A) making sure the app and phone are fully updated B) holding lock and home for ten seconds to reboot the phone. Worked for me
