SPOTIFY SOUND WILL NO LONGER PLAY THRU APPLE HEADPHONES on MY IPHONE 6

My spotify has stopped playing through my apple headphones on my iphone 6. The song plays fine but as soon as i plug in my headphones I can hear nothing. Ive tried turnign the volume slider up to max and unistalling the app. Nothing works. Thsi h appened overnight. I changed nothing to make this happen. Please can you give me a solution> Headphones work with all other apps/devices.

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1.I tried playing the song without headphones - it dea. THen I plugged headphone in. song was still playign but no sound.

Tested headphones they work fine.

Uninstalled spotify. CHecked volume slider. Cleared cookies

What I expected to happen

To be able to hear tracks through my headphones

What actually happened

I still cant hear any tracks even though they are playing.

None. I had to delete the app adn lost them all.

Have you tried playing sound from other apps on the same iPhone with the headphones?

Is it only the Spotify app that has the problem?

Also try blowing air into the headphone port to see if there is any dust or gunk that could be causing problems. There could also be a problem with the headphone port, but if it works with other apps, then that is not that problem.

I'm having the same problem. System sounds work on earbuds, like calling people or adjusting master volume, but apps like Spotify and Netflix only make sound through speakers. Any insights?
