Saved albums not showing in iPhone app

Saved albums not showing in iPhone app

My Question or Issue

Only a handful of my saved albums are showing in my library (4 to be exact, out of the hundreds that should be there). When viewing my account on my computer's app or in the web browser I can see all of them, so it is just on the iPhone app where the issue lies. This just started once I updated to the latest version of the app. All the saved artists still show as normal, so it appears just the album list has been affected.

Hey @mofunk93, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, could you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps

Let me know how this goes!

So the solution to your app no longer reading the files on my phone is to delete and reinstall the app? I believe this will delete all the downloaded songs, which means I will have to download them all again? I have 32GB of songs on my phone (they're still there taking up all that storage). Downloading all songs again seems unreasonable.

I think the uninstall/reinstall will delete the downloaded songs. I only had a few downloaded on my app so it didn't make a difference to me, but I would back up your data first if you're worried about losing downloaded songs.

Hey @mofunk93, and @don1111.

I understand your concern involving losing your saved content when you reinstall the app.

I can confirm that you won't lose your saved content when you reinstall the app. If you're not comfortable with this step, you can always try restarting your device first, or clearing your cache - but if that doesn't help, a clean reinstall would be the next step to perform to give the app a fresh new start which resolves many common issues.

Let me know how this goes - and if you have any more questions.

Well, you could not have been more wrong. I reinstalled the app and, as I
expected, all my downloads were removed from my phone. My Family Plan and I
are going to check out Apple Music.

Thanks for nothing.
