My Question or Issue

On my main account, I cannot swipe down to bring up the search bar nor click the three dots icon to bring up a menu containing the search function. I can search in my liked songs, but not in playlists. 
On another of my accounts, I can swipe down to search, and also play entire songs by clicking on the icons (my main account only plays a segment of the song) and have smart shuffle available. I’ve had this account for a while, and it is on Spotify Free. The UI is also totally different.

We'd like to confirm that the limited experience you're seeing in your main account is the expected one. If you're able to play songs on-demand in your secondary account, this most likely means that you've received our 14-day on-demand trial aimed at new and existing customers that haven't used their account on their mobile device and haven't taken advantage of a trial before.

 

Note that this trial is being activated the first time you stream content from your mobile device and will be discontinued automatically once the 14 days expire without any charges to your account.

Thanks for the clarification. Are you saying that it is intended that I can’t use the search bar on my main account, and the 14-day trial is the reason for the discrepancies?
