Showing which song already is in a playlist

Showing which song already is in a playlist

I do not know when it changed to it or when it was removed, but sometime ago there was this update that showed all the playlists that a particular was added to when going to add it to another playlist. I really liked this feature, but I’m guessing others didn’t since it has since at least been removed for me. I wanted to know why it was removed and if there is a chance it could come back?

Hey there @alexamaria04

Thanks for reaching out about this and welcome to the Community!

You should still be able to see when adding a song to a playlist which one is already in by clicking on the + icon twice.

If that's not how it looks like on your end, could you send us a screenshot? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

We'll be on the lookout.

My Question or Issue

This feature is not available on my desktop. Am i doing something wrong? it works on iOS.

Hi there, @msuds,

The feature is available on desktop too, but keep in mind that when viewing your own playlists, the green check mark will only be visible when you hover over a song, in case you want to add it to another playlist. Here's how it looks:

Spoiler
In my playlists, the check mark is shown only when hovering over the song.In my playlists, the check mark is shown only when hovering over the song.
In other playlists, the check mark is always shown. In other playlists, the check mark is always shown.

Hope this clears things up! Cheers 🤘
