Some songs wont play on my iPhone

In my playlist, certain songs won't play. Before, songs just wouldn't play, but now some do, it's just about 3-4 songs that won't play.

Does an error message pop up when you click on the songs to try and play them?

Uh no.... nothing pops up. The song just pops up and doesn't play.

If you look up the song on spotify does it show up? and if you click on it does it play?

It does show up... i dont have premium so i cant press on it. It does play on my computer though.

It is most likely a local file you imported from your computer into spotify.

ok so if i take the song off that i imported it will be able to play the other songs?

I got rid of it... still hasn't changed it...

The same thing happens to me, and I have premium. It plays for about 8 seconds and then stops. When I try to restart the song, it doesn't play at all. Happens to around half of my songs. Tried redownloading and restarting my phone, nothing worked.

Are you trying to download the songs through your phone data or through wifi? Perhaps there's a glitch in your connection when trying to download some of the songs?

I've already had the songs downloaded and the glitch started happening. So
I reinstalled the app and then half the songs wouldnt downloaded maybe
because of storage or because I tried downloading 3 playlist at once. I do
not have them downloaded now and it still happens.

Nope... ive also tried redownloading the songs

email spotify support and they will reply within the day. they fixed all my
stuff within a couple days
