Song preview causes crash

If I hold down a song, album or playlist to hear a preview the app crashes.

That doesn't sound quite right.
Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

I have had the same problem on my iPhone 6. I have tried playing downloaded songs as well as streaming online songs. I have also tried deleting the app and reinstalling the latest version of Spotify on the app store. I also tried using both a functional wifi and LTE connections. Lastly, I tried previewing songs after changing various settings like sync quality, stream quality, gapless playback, crossfade etc... Nothing I have tried works. This must just be a bug in the iOS app.

my dad had the same issue on his iPhone 7. but it seems to be fixed with the 6.5.0 update. thanks!
