Songs from Local Files sound glitched when played next from queue

My Question or Issue

When I add a song from the local files that were imported from my laptop (2019 MacBook Pro, MacOs 11.2.1) to queue, the transition from the song originally on Spotify to the song added to questions sounds choppy for the first and last couple seconds of the song. This is reproducible with every local song I have synced to the mobile version of the Spotify app.
