Sorting music within a playlist in IOS doesn't save, resorts back to previous sort setting

Solved!

Sorting music within a playlist in IOS doesn't save, resorts back to previous sort setting

My wife and I (who use iPhones 6 Plus and 7 Plus with iOs 10.3 and 10.3.1, respectively) recently noticed that when we try to sort playlists we have created (whether it be by "Recenlty Added," "Artist," Title," etc), after leaving or force quitting Spotify or entering antoher playlist and returning to the playlist in the question, the playlist has resorted back to whatever the previous sort method was used on the playlist. Basically new sorts in IOS aren't saving. I've tried replicating this on my macbook air and I find that the Spotify desktop application appears to remember/save the new way I sort my playlists, but it doesn't appear to then update/replicate in the IOS versions. Has anyone else encountered this issue and know a fix for this?

I've got the same problem. Really frustrating. I also can't manually edit the sort order of playlists - as soon as I drag a track to a different location, it snaps back to where it started. Any advice would be great!

Yes I have had the same problem since I got the last update. I also have an iPhone. Whenever I leave a playlist and go back it resets the setting "sort by". It's really annoying since I use it on many playlist and now I have to manually change it each time I open up a playlist. Please fix it!

i am a newbie to Spotify, and have been thinking that i have messed up some settings for this problem to arise... please can someone solve this? It is really annoying 😞
