Spotify 3.3.0 Green Update

The new green is freaking awful, it hurts my eyes. Come on Spotify, is this an attempt to make your app more visible compared to the upcoming Apple Music app.

With this latest update 3.3.0.1640 the connect functionality is not working correct anymore. When selecting the connect botton the devices state: Cannot play this content. The connect functionality from my windows desktop PC still works as a charm with the same devices.

I have the same issue...why you had to change your color? in order to standing out of the crowd more? well even though this is the intent this won't help you.
You changed colors with a worse overall results...c'mon guys you can do way too better than this awful color match.

I did just a bunch of color matching in case you run out of ideas.

Please change the new green color it is hideous. It ruins my home screen. Either I will have to move it from my home screen or change to the "not as good" Apple music.

I agree! This shade of green reminds me of the green that sunbleached garbage has: it was previously clear and green, but is now unappealing and washed out, making it stand out in a negative way. It is also close to the green colour of a defect LCD screen.

Please change back to the appealing, original logo. Don't go the Pepsi route and constantly alter the logo just for the sake or alteration. The Pepsi logo has also become more unappealing.

To add insult to injury, the green update also makes Spotify useless on iPhone. The running app does not function properly, and when closing the screen or putting the app in the background, Spotify stops. This is really bad timing for such problems. It makes it more appealing to try other services, and Apple is marketing their new service heavily.

Fix your problems and your logo or lose a lot of customers - it is as simple as that...

I have similar problems with CONNECT since I updated to 3.0.0.1640. The client (Dual IR 6S) is shown in the iPad app under CONNECT, but a connection cannot be established! I hope the bug will be fixed in the next version!

And yes, I preferred the old green!

I like changes, generally. The color is, well, bright and horrible. It's like giving your phone to a 6 year old and the pump the brightness to 100%.

I'm sure all the marketing/buzzy/brand manager types love it. Ok. Great. Give me the option to skin it or something. I love the app but don't want to wear sunglasses. This reminds me of the WHITE WHITE WHITE makeover of ms office. Not good.

Strangely enough I just updated to 330 and connect which hadn't been working since the last update is now working!

Don't care for the new green either but a working connect is far more important IMO.
