Hi,

 

since yesterday (at least i reconized it yesterday) the ios app is stopping playback on connect device (yamaha) when i receive device notifications. My Wife has the same issue.

 

Any suggestions ?

Ok, now it stopped without any notification 😞

Same here on an Onkyo AVR when playing Spotify Connect. Music simply stops randomly, while AVR still displays that the song is running (but playtime is freezed). On my Android Smartphone (controlling the spotify connect) it looks like everything is okay. 

I can only get the AVR play again if I power it off completely, or if I play around with skip and skip back several times. Cannot see any pattern behind this. Totally useless when spotify connect stops every 5 to 10 minutes, sometimes working for an hour. I noticed this issue 3 days ago or so and it gets worse every day.

I suppose there's something wrong on their end, since once you start a Spotify Connect playback you're pretty much done. Even if you turn off all your other clients and leave Connect playing, it'll stop after some minutes.

I have the same problem really annoying!!
