Spotify+Ipad air+apple tv problems

Hi, have problems to play spotify from my ipad air to apple tv 3rd gen via airplay. After 1 or a few songs it disconnects from appletv. I still have full wifi connection. If I run other music apps and radiostations it works 100% . But spotify disconnects airplay. Everything is updated, I also removed spotify app from ipad and reinstalled it. But same thing, played almost 3 songs and then it disconnected again. 

Now I am out of ideas and if there isn´t a solution I will cancel my subscription.

Is your Apple TV connected via WiFi to the router aswell? If it is try connecting it via ethernet and disable the internal WiFi if ya can. It could be that spotify doesnt handle packet(data) loss as well as the other apps your using.

@klumsy67 I have this problem from time to time where it cuts out - what I did was to replace my router to a Apple Airport Extreme and it was fine.

If the budget of that is too high, my friend suggested finding any router that supports the 5GHz band and make sure all of the clients are connected to the wifi network and it should be okay.. A few DLink and Netgear/Asus routers have 5GHz support.
