Spotify Opening "send a Text Message" over app and then app freezes

On open of the ios app, a "send a text message" pops up over the app and when closing it the app sometimes freezes and I can't even go back to the home screen. I have to turn off my iPhone screen and then quit and close the app.

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.
