Spotify Premium - songs skipping to next ten seconds in

My Question or Issue

 My Spotify just started skipping through songs in the last two days like it's possessed. It will play ten or twenty seconds of a song and then skip to the next one, or just completely skip the next song altogether.

Also, it keeps telling me it's playing through my computer at home, when my computer is shut off and I don't even use it on my computer.

This is incredibly annoying. My software is updated, I've uninstalled & reinstalled the app and have logged out and logged back in again, but it keeps happening.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? Sorry if this may sound a bit repetitive but if that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps 🙂

I'd also recommend using the Sign Out Everywhere option in your Spotify account page.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify?

Hi Have same issue in all my devices, Android, PS4, and Desktop PC. I have premiun service.

If your phone has a gesture setting go in and turn off the skipping song gesture swipe.
