Spotify Reshuffles Playlist Between Listening

My Question or Issue

I listen to Spotify a lot, and never had issues with the shuffling system. I honestly prefer how it isn’t completely random and will arrange songs by the “vibe” or whatever. That’s not the issue I’m having.

The issue I have is that sometimes (no idea how to replicate it) my current list I’m listening to will restart, which means all songs I’ve already listened to are reshuffled into the queue, and the queue is completely reset. Sometimes even the currently playing song is reset after playing for a few seconds.

This also happens when it plays recommended songs at the end of a playlist, it will just stop playing them in the middle of a song and then restart the playlist that has ended, usually also turning shuffle off.

The only thing I can thing may be causing this is I listen for about 5-10, minutes at a time in my car, the disconnect bluetooth when the car turns off, and then reconnects it again when the car turns back on. Though this doesn’t happen 100% of the time I turn on/off my car, so I can’t sense any kind of pattern. I should add this only started happening about 1-2 months ago, and the way I use spotify hasn’t changed in the last 10ish months (I deliver pizzas out of my car), but the behavior of reshuffling a currently playing list has.

First up, we appreciate the detailed description of the issue. Now, if this only happens after playing for a while via Bluetooth, it could be related to this ongoing issue that's currently being investigated. 

If not, then let us know if you've tried any troubleshooting steps. If not, you can start by logging out and back in twice in a row to resync your account's info. You can also clean reinstall the app to make sure everything is working correctly. Don't worry, you won't lose any saved content, but you might need to download your offline music again.

After paying closer attention the last few weeks, I’ve noticed it is only happening when on Bluetooth in my car (2015 honda accord). So yes it is related to the other issue. It still persists.
