Spotify app isn’t working

Spotify app isn’t working

Plan

Premium

Country

Czech republic

Device

iPhone 8

Operating System

iOS 13.7

My Spotify app isn’t responding. When i’m on the home page it says “Something went wrong” but when i click “Try again” the page starts loading and nothing eventually happens. Basically the same problem occurs when i try to search something it just says “Couldn’t load the page” and nothing happens when i click “Reload”. When i’m in my library all the playlists are there but they’re empty, there are no songs in them. My liked songs have disappeared completely. I can’t go to settings because the button just isn’t there. I have logged out from the app trough web but when i logged in again there was no difference. I also tried deleting the app and downloading it again.. didn’t help. I do have the latest version. When I’m on the web player everything is fine and in place though. Please help 😞

Hey there @aninka

Help’s here!

First thing we recommend is running a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your iPhone. This step is a bit different than a regular reinstall being more thorough and removing any corrupted files from previous installations. Check out this help page to find the steps for clean reinstall depending on the device in use.

Tip: Once you’ve performed the clean reinstall you'll need to re-download your offline music and podcasts.

If you still see no change after the clean reinstall, try disabling any power saving or data cleaning settings on your mobile device. Make sure you try this since such features can often prevent the app from operating at full capacity.

It's also worth checking how the app will run when connecting to a different network. If it works with another connection, it's best to contact the service provider of the original network for more information.

Let us know how you get on! We'll be here in case you need any further help with this.

Thank you so much for your help. It’s really appreciated but unfortunately none of those tips worked.. the app still isn’t working properly, nothing has changed
