Spotify client v5.0.9.992 pauses playback when running in the background

This happen on iphone 6. iOS release is 9.2.1 (13D20). Whenever I listen to Spotify and hit the home button on the phone, the playback stops. It is impossible also, to start playback from apple car play.

The same spotify client version runs ok on an iPad on iOS release 9.2.1 (13D15).

Looks like this is not the intended behaviour.

Hey @Cangetin

This is an iOS glitch.

This can be fixed by double clicking the home button to go to your open apps. Then close out of all the open apps.

After that you can open Spotify again and it should work in the background.

Hopefully that works. Let me know how it goes.
