Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
Sound like you have Crossfade and Automix enabled. Those settings will blend the last few seconds of an ending song and mix in the first few of the next one to create a transition effect. You can find these under Settings > Playback > Crossfade / Automix and finetune them to your liking, or disable them entirely.
Hope this helps.
This did not help to fix the issue for me.
Hi @G3penn,
Could you give us a bit more info on what's happening on your end? Does this occur with Repeat One toggled on? If so, our tech team is currently working on a fix, so feel free to check out this thread and Subscribe from the three dots menu so you're notified of any updates.
In case that's not the issue you're experiencing, please share a short screen recording which captures the app's behavior in action along with the following info:
If you haven't already, it's worth performing a clean reinstall of the app. Check also if the issue persists on another device.
Cheers!
Same here. I listen to some bands that have longer songs, and there have been a couple songs where this cuts off the last 1-2 minutes and not seconds. I just don't use the DJ any more.
Me too. It appears that if one song is considerable longer than the other it gets cut off. Not if you start eith the long song though
Hey there @Poppekop,
Thanks for posting here in the Community.
Just to confirm, have you tried what @Alex mentioned here? If you haven't, we'd suggest you make sure both the Crossfade and the Automix features are disabled.
If the above doesn't do the trick, and as mentioned previously in this thread, it'd help us a lot if you could send us more info about this behavior. Please send us:
Keep us in the loop!
Hi Aleja,
Sorry, I can't seem to reproduce. It was on the website though. It happened a few times before I thought hey that song didn't end yet, but as I usually listen while doing other stuff I let it slip. Recently I noticed because it cut off mid sentence while there is a beautiful long guitar solo at the end of the song.
I played the whole album https://open.spotify.com/album/0mgkILb0WpW4EFKCvWP99J and the problem was on track 6. it cut off before 4.05 when the guitar solo starts.
The website doesn't have the suggested options.
I will keep an ear out if I hear it again.
Hey there @Poppekop,
Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.
We could replicate the aforementioned behavior with the album you kindly mentioned. Since you mentioned you're using the web player, we'd suggest you clear cache and cookies just to make sure the stored ones are not affecting the playback.
We really appreciate the time you took to send us all these details. Do let us know if this happens again and:
We'll be on the lookout!
