Spotify cutting songs short

Spotify cutting songs off short and starting the next song about 12/13 seconds in.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Sound like you have Crossfade and Automix enabled. Those settings will blend the last few seconds of an ending song and mix in the first few of the next one to create a transition effect. You can find these under Settings > Playback > Crossfade / Automix and finetune them to your liking, or disable them entirely.

Could you give us a bit more info on what's happening on your end? Does this occur with Repeat One toggled on? If so, our tech team is currently working on a fix, so feel free to check out this thread and Subscribe from the three dots menu so you're notified of any updates.

In case that's not the issue you're experiencing, please share a short screen recording which captures the app's behavior in action along with the following info:

• your device's make, model and OS version
• the version of Spotify you're running
• the troubleshooting you've tried so far

If you haven't already, it's worth performing a clean reinstall of the app. Check also if the issue persists on another device.

Same here. I listen to some bands that have longer songs, and there have been a couple songs where this cuts off the last 1-2 minutes and not seconds. I just don't use the DJ any more.
