Spotify doesn't work on Ipod Touch

I have an Ipod Touch with IOS 5. I used to have a premium abo which worked fine. But since I'm not using offline music I stopped it. But now the Spotify app doesn't connect to the internet with wifi.

Hi Trishke,

As the iPod touch is a "mobile device" (and runs the iOS app) you'll need a Spotify Premium subscription to be able to use the app for streaming.

Hi, I have a similar problem to the member above.    I have an ipod touch with i0S5 - i've just downloaded the latest spotify app but it doesn't work - a white screen shows for 30 seconds and then it crashes.  I have a premium account so that's not the issue.  Any help appreciated!

Hi, um my spotify doesn't work. It says I need to upgrade to premium but when I try to do that it doesn't let me because my phone is a Tesco phone. If you could help me that would be great. Thank you.

Weird, you definitely shouldn't be seeing an upgrade to Premium message on that version unless you are trying to select a track (since on demand playback is a Premium feature). Do you get the same error pressing the shuffle play buttons?

Hello, i have a premium account and the bill is paid but I cannot use Spotify on my Ipod as it says my subscription is expired on my Ipod even though it works fine on my laptop. Please tell me how to fix this

Hi! I have a new iPod Touch, and a Spotify premium account. I have tried EVERYTHING on these forums, and nothing works. Spotify starts, then hangs up on the loading screen, then disappears. I’ve tried reinstalling, I’ve tried changing the region back and forth, etc., etc. I’ve tried it all. Is there an answer for this that will work?
