Spotify in offline mode on wifi - iPhone 5s

Hello,

I've been having this problem for a couple of weeks now on my iPhone 5s. Whenever I am using my wifi at home, it says Spotify is offline. All other apps on my phone work fine over wifi. Spotify also works over wifi on my desktop.

I also cannot connect to this Spotify help website via my phone and wifi - I get a message saying that it cannot establish a secure connection. So I'm guessing there's something to do with the Spotify servers that is reacting oddly with my phone and wifi.

I've tried:
- rebooting phone using home and lock button
- logging out and back in (can only do this using mobile data as it can't connect to verify my login over wifi)
- deleting and reinstalling Spotify from the App Store.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? This is driving me nuts.

@emmaline999 that's a weird one, 

it sounds as though your phone may be blocking spotify, perhaps through your antivirus software. 

when you access your iphone app from a connection other than your wifi it's fine I gather?

if you don't find anything there:

• uninstall the app, restart your device(s) and then re-install.
• update your OS.
• next, you can sign out of all devices here.
• clear the cache for the app and perhaps re-install chrome.
• reset your modem.
