My Question or Issue

After update of the iOS the spotify started pausing accidentaly the songs.
Does it even when the phone is unlocked.
I tried reinstall the app and sign in and out of the device.
I stream the music into other devices as well.
If the phone is turned off, it does not have problem, the problem is in the phone which is pausing the songs for all other devices as well.

It was not hapenning before the update.

Feel free to ask for aditional info needed for debugging.

Hey there @ragulin

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community, and welcome 🙂

We understand you've already tried reinstalling the app. However, we'd like to suggest a clean reinstall as it's more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing trouble.

If this doesn't do the trick, could you give it a try using a different internet connection to see if you notice anything new?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Facing the same issue, Spotify was working fine but after upate it is not responding. When I try to play song it plays 2 or 3 sec and after that app automatically shut down. I don't know how to fix this problem. Suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks,

Hi there @ArecJohnson,

Thank you for your reply in this thread.

Can you confirm if you followed the steps that @Novy provided?

Another useful steps to try is the following:

  • Soft reset of the device
  • Ensure device has enough storage space

Keep us posted.

Cheers!
