Despite multiple re-installs, changing of passwords, logging in and out, and even going online to log out of all devices, the mobile app continues to pause every 30 seconds saying "Spotify has been paused because your account is being used somewhere else"
I am 100% percent sure my account isn't being used elsewhere and this is still happening. Can't use the mobile app anymore. Help please.
Literally everyting was fine with spotify until I ran the most recent updates for both sonos & spotify.
I suggest you contact support so they can take a look at your account and see what is going on:

I am having the same problem. Also use Sonos. But whether I am using Sonos or Spotify direct, lately my music continues to pause with the error saying that I am logged in somewhere else. This needs to be fixed ASAP as I am on the verge of cancelling my account. Way too annoying. Can't hardly listen to a couple songs before the error. Its constant. Please help or I will cancel and move on.
Best,
Bob

Same problem here!!! Also a sonos and spotify user ....ughhh ... PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!
I've responded to support. Waiting on a response. The problem stems across the desktop app, the mobile app, and sonos. Literally spotify is rendered useless by this last update despite fresh installs and password changes. So frustrating.
All other music services work perfectly on Sonos (besides Spotify).
If I don't hear back from support soon I'm going to setup a secondary spotify account, not through facebook, and see if that resolves the issue. That would suck to loose all of my music and starred playlists - but what sucks worse is having songs drop every 30 seconds despite having a screaming fast wifi connection.
Thanks for keeping us updated davegurley - mine appears to have stabilised with only occassional stopping now.
I hope yours improves shortly.
The most recent update from support was -- they can't seem to figure out the problem, but after looking at my account they are not seeing any devices registered. Which they admit is strange.
Their suggested fix... They can cancel my account, and reset it with the same email address, as well as transfer my playlists over. But they cannot transfer over who I'm subscribed to.
I'll let you know if this resolves the problem.
Same here. I tried logging off everywhere option, I logged off from every device that I know of, I changed my password, still I cannot listen for more than 20 minutes before the music stops and I get the above message
