I’m new, so sorry if I’m posting on wrong forum or doing anything wrong. I’m just wondering about the library differences between iPad and iPhone versions of Spotify. Imagine a brand new account, and they favorite a song. On the iPad version, that user could then go into the “albums” tab of “my library” and see the album the song is in. They could also go to the artist tab and see the artist. However, in mobile, the album and artist wouldn’t show up. You instead have to favorite the artist and album, and favoriting the album automatically favorites all the songs in it. What is the reason for this difference, and is there a way to make the mobile version behave like the iPad version? Also, is there a way on mobile to sort favorites songs similar to the way you can do it on windows 10?

Thanks in advance

Hey @, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

Because the iPad and the iPhone are 2 different devices and even some things inside iOS itself are not available in the iPad but on the iPhone and vice versa.

If you would like to request a feature for Spotify I’d suggest starting a new thread in the Community Ideas Exchange.

This’ll allow users, Stars, and Moderators to vote and comment on it.

To filter the songs in the Favorite Songs just swipe down and a search filter with a menu next to it will appear, then just tap the menu to reveal a few sorting options.

Hope this helps 🙂
