Spotify not playing when there's no internet connection

Hello,

whenever I try to play songs without internet connection it won't work, it just stay's on 0s. Clicking play doesn't do anything, but the button appearence changes. It even stops playback, when I had an internet connection and it get's too bad or there is none.

At first I had AutoFade activated and thought this would be the cause, because it would always stop at 7s, so I deactivated it and now it stops at the last, or first second of a song, skipping skips to the next song, but thats it.

Whenever I regain a stable internet connection playback starts again.

The songs I tried to play are downloaded to my device too.

What I've tried:

- Force Closing the app

- Rebooting the device

- Spotify clean install

- Whiping Phone clean and reinstalling everything

It also does not matter if I'm playing through the on Device speakers, AUX, AirPods or other Bluetooth speakers.

I think I also tried another Device and the problem remained but I'm not sure.

Device: iPhone X, (iPhone 6s)

OS: iOS 13 and 14

The issue first appeared about 3 months ago.

I do have Spotify Premium and there's no one else using my account.

Just to make sure, are you referring to the app being unable to play tracks you've downloaded as offline content ?

Could you provide screenshots of your screen when you try pressing play ?
