Spotify premium not recognized!

Spotify premium not recognized!

My iPhone will not recognize that I purchased premium, I've tried logging out and using the username instead of Facebook login, re launching, and reinstalling the app. HELP!

Are you sure you are signing in with the correct log in details? 

If you sign into your online overview does it say you have an active premium subscription?

Hey again 🙂

 

I would suggest you drop the payments team a message using the online contact form and someone will look into this for you. They may need to verify some payment details with you, which is why it can't be done on the public forum.

Hi Jortleib - Sounds like you're signing into a separate account. Your Premium is linked to an account that was opened via Facebook. 

 

Are you using your FB email and password to log in?

Hey there and welcome to the Commnuity 😃

 

There is some problems with servers and servers should be up and running soon.

 

You have Premium account in Spotify system, the update is slow, apologies for that. You should get an Premium soon to your lovely device.

 

Also before that you might want to try to fishing this update manually, just log out from app and then log in back! You may need to do this several times before this works. Otherwise wait for update, you're in update queue.

I cannot log in to my Spotify premium on my iphone. It used to work before. I do not want to log on via Facebook. It states that I don't have premium, but I do (use it on other devices), or it states that my password or username is wrong (which it is not).

Hi kmel,

 

An extra account had been created when you logged into Spotify with Facebook details. I have deleted that account. Log in with your Spotify username (kj*****m******) and password. All will be OK (fingers crossed).

 

 

I think I have the same problem. Because all my playlists are gone. I don't want to log in with Facebook, but now it goes automatically. How can I get my playlists back?

Hi, I have the same problem. Spotify on my iphone says that i don´t have premium but i do and all my playlists are unable to use! Please help me, I´m going for a trip for 2 months and can´t survive without spotify!!

Same issue. Happening far too often now. Log into spotify on any device ( iPad, iPhone) and it says I don't have a premium subscription! I have beven paying for more than a year now. Guys could you help?

When I look at my acount here on spotify.com it says I don't have premium. But when I check my bank acount I've payed for this mounth. I only have one acount to log in to..

Hello,

I changed my debit card recently, so I received an email 'Spotify Payment Failure' due to my old card being cancelled.

Right when I received the email, I went to my account and changed the card - and subscribed to Spotify Unlimited as it was back to basic access.

Now I have Spotify unlimited on my laptop, but not on my Iphone anymore (it says Spotify Premium Required).

I tried restating the Iphone, relogging (using Facebook), but nothing works.

That is correct, you need to Spotify Premium subscription to use the Spotify application on any mobile device whether it be a phone or a tablet. Spotify unlimited only gives your unlimited ad-free listening on the desktop applications.

I'm having a similar issue. My account was deactivated a month ago because the card used to pay had been cancelled due to theft. I forgot to set up my new card number. When I realized this I re-enrolled with my new card and was able to stream my already downloaded songs. Today I tried to play a specific song and I was told only premium members could and that I was not a premium member.  I double checked my account online and it says that I am still infact a premium member. Please help.
