Spotify screens dims when connected to Carplay

My Question or Issue

Whenever I start a song and in the car someone wants to sing along, after some seconds the screen starts dimming if not touched, even if the lyrics are autoscrolling with the song going.

It is very annoying cause whoever wants to sing nees to keep on touching the screen to read the lyrics.

Does anybody know how to fix it? I've checked all the Spotify settings nothing seems to work.

Just to check, does clearing stored cache make any difference? Once it's done, try logging out and back in again. This should resync your account info.

Another option is to do a clean reinstall of the app, as this will clear cache as well. It will ensure that you're running the latest app version too.

Also, could you double-check your phone's settings, and try changing the Auto-lock time to see if the same thing happens? You can check the steps on this page.
