Spotify skipping 2 songs in queue.

Basically no matter what I do, when a song finishes, it goes to the next song but skips after a single second, skipping two songs in a row before playing the next song. Happens on cellular and on wifi. I’ve restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, went offline. It always skips two songs no matter what songs they are. I would love to add a screen recording to better explain but it won’t let me due to file type.

Updated to 15.3 this morning and exact same happening here, it’s got to be an IOS bug, hopefully fixed ASAP

I'm having a similar problem. It started two days ago. I've been listening on my phone. Headphones, phone speakers, external speakers, it doesn't matter how I listen. The problem persists.

If I have songs in the queue, it will play the first 30 seconds of the first song and then skip the song and clear the queue. This happens every time, no matter how many songs are in the queue, no matter the playlist. Then it plays from my current playlist, but it skips every other song (plays a full one, next one skips after 30 seconds, plays full one, skips next after 30 seconds...).

If there are no songs in the queue, it goes straight to skipping every other song after 30 seconds. It is so frustrating. I'm not missing any updates, iOS or app-wise. Nothing changed on my phone or in the app before the problem started.

Side note: it always seems to skip the songs I really want to hear, and I can't just add them to the queue to hear them because songs in the queue are guaranteed skips. So sad.

Sorry to hear that you're having such an experience with the app.

In order to investigate this further and find a solution quicker, could you provide us with the following info:

• Does this happen on multiple devices and network connections?
• Device model, OS version and Spotify version
• What troubleshooting have you done so far
• A short video recording of the issue. You can upload it as an attachment(less than 5MB) or as a link to Youtube or another video sharing platform.

happens to me on Android but ONLY after I pause and leave the app unused for a while. When I resume listening, it will finish the current track and skip the next 2 in the list...

UNLESS I manually restart the track that was playing before, then it won't skip the next ones

really weird

I'm on offline mode BTW, because commuting by bus and running through weak 4G signals makes playback stop suddenly, even when the tracks are downloaded... just another dumb little issue
