Spotify takes allmy data on my iphone..

Spotify takes allmy data on my iphone..

Since one month ago, Spotify takes alot(really alot) of data on my iphone. In less than 24 h (with 1 h active using) the app uses 1,9 GB. I dont use Spotify more than I did before. What can be the problem?

The problem is that you automatically stream the songs when you listen on spotify. If you stream using you data, it can take away a huge amount of data. It might be that you accidentally turned off your Wi-Fi while in a wifi zone, which causes your mobile data to take over.

My solution is put all the songs you like to listen in one playlist, download the playlist(using Wi-Fi), then you can either turn on Offline mode at spotify settings, or if you have an iPhone(should work for android too), go to your settings, then go to your mobile data, scroll down where you see all of your downloaded apps. Look for the Spotify app and turn it off

Thanks for your answer. The strange thing is that im not using spotify more / or in another way then before, but still it takes more data. I understand that the application takes much data, but my wounder is why this happens now, when my "routines" hasnt changed...

Yeah I had the same problem, didn't change my routine either. But suddenly, Spotify took much more data than it did before. Don't know how this happened, but this is how I fixed it. I hope this will help you too.
