Spotify to play on 2 devices simultaneously

I am listening to spotify (premium account) via my iPad that is plugged to an older stereo. I would like to also hear the same song on my iMac.

Spotify app on my iMac notifies me that I am playing from my iPad. I can pause/play/go to the next song to control the ipad from spotify on iMac but I cannot hear the music on both devices. Is there anyway to manage that so both my iPad and iMac outputs the same song/playlist concurrently to their respective externnal speakers?

You can only play music in one device per account.

Same problem for me: in my bedroom on my computer and in the living room with my cell phone (Music system)

This policy...only one device...sucks. I'm a paying partner, in my own home but can't play in more than one room. Dang. Time to move on.
