Spotify will not open on IOS 8.0.2 Iphone 5s

Everytime I open the app, it just shows the splash page and closes. I am unable to use this app PERIOD! I have tried uninstalling, re-installing, reset my iphones settings (without eraseing content) and then re-installing after that, turning on an off my phone off after uninstalling and re-installing-NOTHING! Any other ideas I am close to just dumping it before it automatically renews in a few days.

The app developers are currently looking into the problem.

Any update on this.  I just canceled my account becuase I am getting charged for no music.  App won't open.  This is not good.

I am also having the same problem. I have a premium subscription and whenever I open the app it starts to load then closes. Has been happening for 2 days now. I have an iphone5s
