Spotify won’t connect to wifi or data

Spotify won’t connect to wifi or data

I have Spotify premium (family), and am located in Canada. iPhone 8 with iOS 12.1.2.

 

My premium account is in good standing.

 

For the last two weeks, Spotify will not recognize my wifi - no matter which wifi I try to connect to. It will not recognize data either. So I am now paying for an account that does not allow me to search for new music. 

 

I have gone gone through your troubleshooting steps and had no success. This is incredibly aggravating. 

 

Any suggestions?

Hi @Amadora, thanks for writing!

 

Please try resetting your Network Settings and let me know if this helps.

 

In your Settings app, tap Settings > General > ResetReset Network Settings.

From the first screenshot simply toggle the switch for Offline mode and you should be good to go.

The reset didn’t work but the toggle did. Weird because I had tried that - several times - and it didn’t work. Oh well. Problem hopefully solved now! Thank you! 

This happens to me sometimes. You go to your networks and forget your certain network and then rejoin it. I am sorry if this doesn't work for you, but it is worth a try!
