I am having an issue with the detection of local tracks on my iPhone. I've created a playlist for offline use which contains music not available for streaming, however I own the files and have them both on my computer and synced to my iPhone using iTunes and the built in music app, but for whatever reason the Spotify app refuses to detect them. I have made sure the files play correctly through the built in music app, there are no issues. I've had no issues with this before and am hoping this a fixable error rather than removed functionality. I appreciate any help.
Here are two pictures, the first being a few of the files as they appear in the spotify app and the second as they appear in the music app.

I am having the same issue - though syncing songs from my Local Files was working perfectly last week. All of the sudden I have songs that are in my Local Files that will not sync and are showing up greyed out in the playlist. I'm on the same wifi, I have Spotify open on my computer and on my iPad and I have "Available Offline" set on both my computer and my iPad.
My iPad is not showing up as a "Device" on my computer. Anyone know what gives? So frustrating!
There is a current bug that causes any local files with (parenthesis, commas, dashes, etc.) to be unsynced randomly, usually after an update comes out for the iOS app. The developers are currently investigating this bug.
It is likely that when you updated to one of the recent Spotify updates to the iOS app, the local files became unsycned due to this bug.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Thanks very much for this info. Would this also cause my computer not to even detect my iPad as a Device? That's not happening either...
Your iPad should still show up under devices in the Spotify desktop app if it is connected to the same WiFi network as your computer.
Thanks Matt - perhaps I have a bigger issue then. I can't get my iPad to show up under "Device" (though it did so in the past). I'm on the same wifi and Spotify is open on my computer and the app is open on my iPad. Any thoughts?
