Spotify won't open in iPhone

I try to open my Spotify app in my iPhone but it won't, it just shows the logo against a black screen and never loads. I tried refreshing the app and deleting it and redownloading it. What should I do?

Hey there, looking at your account, you're using an older iPhone. What model of iPhone is it and what version of iOS are you using?

Tried restarting it by holding the Home and Lock buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears?

Hi we have the same issue on my wifes Iphone 4... app hangs and nothing happends - this just started, shes running IOS 7 and its been working on this version before.

We have no issues with spotify on other devices.

its been a long time since ive logged in ( its all auto now ) i thought the user name was the mail adress ?

It depends on how your account was created. If you created your Spotify account using your email address, you will have chosen a unique Spotify username during the registration process which you need to use to login. If your account was created via Facebook, you need to login using your Facebook email address and password.

Im logged in trough the browser so i can see a user name ( all numbers ) cant remember how i created the account.

I am currently having the same issue. I have the iPhone 5 and iOS 8 but my spotify for a while not will not open. It seems to load up to the browser screen then just shuts off. I've tried resetting my phone, deleting and re down loading the app, and just waiting a couple days but it still is not working. Yet it works fine on my boyfriends phone and my iPad and computer. Please help

I have the same problem.  It just started when I updated my iPhone to IOS 8.0, I have also tried everything you listed and it still won't open.

I JUST got this to finally work. I had the same problem before and tried everything: clearing out the old data from the icloud and then re-installing it after and removing my device from the stored spotify accounts and then trying again.

Finally I got an answer, try this - 

Go into iOS Settings > General-Language & Region > Make sure it says US > If it's already on this, move it to a different language and then change it back to the correct language .

If this does not work, try doing a clean reinstall of the app with the Language change.
