Hello!

If you hold down shift and click on the tracks you want to delete then right click and click "remove from playlist" that should remove them 🙂

Hope this helped 🙂

Unfortunately, if you are using an iOS device deleting them one at a time is all you can do.

I Have 61.000 stared songs???? Strange. I would like to empty this list but it wont remove. And one by one is no option, some song wont remove.

Selcet all and remove doesnt work btw not even 40

Hi @oosterhuis- to delete 61,000 songs at once from the starred playlist, you would need to use the desktop app, where you can shift-click to select them all.   Click the first song, then scroll to the last song, press the Shift key, then click on that last song.  Then right-click and select Delete.

Nop that wont work.
Even if i try 40, wont work. The Max is 14

You should be able to delete more than 14 at a time.   I just tried myself by shift-clicking, since I don't really use Starred any longer.  It deleted all 318 tracks in a split second.  I'm using the windows app (on win 8.1), Spotify version 0.9.10.14 How about you?  Maybe we're on different platforms or versions.

Hi Rob

0.9.10.14.g578d350b

On win 7 and the official Spotify app

It wont let me remove 60.000 stard tracks ( i did not klick 60.000 songs i dont have that much time)

Onley 14 at the time...........

I happen to also have a win7 machine with the same version of Spotify installed.  As a test, I added 1600 songs to Starred, pulling in from other large playlists I subscribe to.  I then Selected all by shift+click and deleted all at once with no problem.  Maybe there's some barrior between 1600 and 60,00 where it doesn't work properly, but I thought 1600 would be a good test without spending all day on it. Maybe you can try doing a clean install and see if that helps?  It's surprising (to me at least) the kinds of little random problems that can fix.

Spoiler
What do the plus and minus signs mean. I want to remove the songs from my starred list that I have already used. Can I remove all checked songs and keep the plus ones? I also prefer the old system.
