My Question or Issue

 

Recently my Spotify has started to stop playing most tracks 3-11 seconds in. It’s been getting quite frustrating especially on journeys. I have tried

 

- uninstalling and reinstalling

- restart device 

- clear cache 

- log out and back in

 

and so far nothing has worked regarding this.

I’d really love some help with this as it’s driving me up the wall when all I want to do is play music. Thank you

Can you confirm if you followed these steps when you reinstalled the app? This is different from a quick reinstall and could be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. 

 

If that doesn't do the trick, can you log in with another account on the device - such as a friend's or a family member's to see if the issue persist?
 

It would also be great if you can let us know if this occurs on one specific device or multiple devices?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hi there 

 

I followed the steps, and it works now! yay!

it did also happen on my laptop, however it would only stop for a few seconds in the middle of the song, then resume. I followed the steps for that too and now it is working on both devices.
