The ability to jump directly to the currently playing song in a list to see where it is in the list

The ability to jump directly to the currently playing song in a list to see where it is in the list

I read somewhere that this issue was closed, because solved

this is NOT true on mobile on ios18.2

see photo

there is still NO solution to go directly to the song that is playing IN the playlist, yes you can go to the playlist , I know

but NOT to the specific song IN the list

you have to scroll yourself to te song

and with large playlists it is very very anoying, I think

Also put the function 'add to anther playlist' HIGHER in the menu list , like 3rd or 4th place or so

nobody uses 'start a jam' 🙂

Also put back the library button to the right corner, please, also very very anoying to push the wrong button ALL THE TIME 😞

Hey there @PatjeNo1!

Thanks for posting in the Community!

Regarding your first question, I was able to replicate this successfully on my end. When I click on the playlist name in the Now Playing view, it redirects me to the current song playing in the list. Could you double-check if you’re using the latest version of the Desktop app?

As for your suggestions, we really appreciate them! I’d recommend creating a new idea in the Community by following these steps. This way, other users can vote on it, and the more votes an idea gets, the higher the chances of it being implemented.

Let me know if you need help with anything else!

please read correctly my message!

the problem is NOT in the desktop-app, but in the MOBILE IOS 18.2 (APPLE) -app

not Android nor Mac nor Windows

in IOS you can click on the playlist on top, but this will NOT bring you to the song, only to the playlist top song

SO STILL A PROBLEM :))

Hey there @PatjeNo1! Thanks for replying and sorry for the misunderstanding!

On Android, you can tap the playlist name in the Now Playing view, and it should take you to the song’s current position in the playlist. However, on iOS, this action will only open the playlist without navigating to the specific song. Unfortunately, there isn’t another way to achieve this right now.

If you have suggestions on how to improve this, feel free to share them on our Idea Exchange board. Others can vote and share their feedback to support your idea. More info on how ideas work here.

Let us know if you need help with anything else!

Take care!

This is so frustrating. Obviously we’re talking about a bug, as on other platforms the behavior is different and as expected. Only iOS is affected and I really doubt it’s intentional UX design choice (doesn’t make sense). And to resolve simple bug we have to suggest it as a brilliant new idea and hope enough people will bother to go here a vote for it and then wait a few years? This should have been noticed by testers a long time ago and just fixed to work as on other platforms. It’s like this for years.
