Track information not updated in car dashboard

Hello

I have latest version of spotify on an iPhone 5s plugged in via lightning cable to my car dashboard which supports displaying track information on it.

When I start playing with spotify, the track information of the first song play is correctly displayed on the car dashboard. Successive songs do not update the track information, first track name and cover is displayed during the whole session.

This does not happen with any other music application, which work fine.
