Trying to add local files to it's own playlist; Tracks not showing up on iOS app

Trying to add local files to it's own playlist; Tracks not showing up on iOS app

So, I made a playlist for just a few select local files from my PC. So, I can download it to my phone and listen off WiFi and all that. When I add the songs on the desktop app, it shows that the songs are in the playlist on the desktop, and on the mobile app, it shows that there's however many songs in the playlist, but it doesn't show the songs. When I click the playlist, it just shows the "Want to add songs to this playlist?" message. Even though, it shows that there's songs in the playlist. They're just not showing up on the mobile app.

Anybody know what might be the problem?

Hey MattyMuffins, unfortunatly as far as I'm aware you can only play local files if you already have them on your device, Spotify doesnt actually save your local files it only streams them.

To put it simply your PC can see the songs because they are saved on your PC, If you want Spotify to see them on your iPhone you will have to manually connect your phone and send the files across.
