Turning EQ (Equaliser) on/off crashes Spotify app

Hi,

I'm experiencing the Spotify app (7.9.0.545) on my iPhone 6 (IOS 10.2.1 - 14D27) crashing consistently whenever the master EQ toggle is switched on or off.

It doesn't seem to make a difference if the app is restarted/closed or even when my phone is completely restarted, the issue persists.

I'd assume that it won't be just me that's experiencing this, nor would I expect it to be a complicated issue; if you could please investigate and get a fix published it would be appreciated.

It seems that the problem does not occurr if you are playing a song WHILE changing the equalizer switch on/off.

Very good pick-up giusbo.

I've played with this a bit more, and have found that a song doesn't even need to be playing in order for the EQ toggle to start working; Spotify merely needs to have played a track for a split second in order for the EQ issue to be worked-around.

Unofficial workaround:
1. Open Spotify app

2. Press play (to any track)

3. Once the track has played for ~1 sec, press pause

4. Toggle EG

Issue appears to then be resolved until the Spofify app is manually closed or phone restarted.

Any acknowledgement on this as an issue Spotify Devs?

I'm also experiencing this issue. I've had only limited success using this workaround.
