Unable to edit my playlists

When I go into a playlist which I’ve created, i only have the ability to add songs (which i have already done) 

I can’t seem to remove any songs from the playlist which is quite frustrating 😞

Is this possibly a feature that is exclusive to premium members?

Any replies would be a great help

(just as a side note: is it possible to change the playlist cover photo?)

That's odd. When did it start happening?

What device are you using? Does it also happen on other devices?

Just to make sure you're doing it right, here's how to delete a song using a mobile phone:

1. Go into the playlist.
2. Tap on the context menu in the upper right corner.
3. Tap on Edit.
4. Delete tracks by tapping the red icon.

I have the ios app on an iphone xr

Hey @dmcnicks you're right,

For the updated version of the app you should go to the three-dotted icon near "Add Songs".

Then you'll be given some options, and the third one is Edit.

When I open this menu the options are:
add songs
rename
make secret
make collaborative
delete playlist
share

Still no edit option, i’m assuming this must have been made a premium feature

I've just logged in a Free account on my iPhone to double check this, and the menu is just like yours.

But you can delete a song if you go to "More" just after the song names under "Add Songs". You'll see a three-dotted icon on the right of each song. Just tap it and remove the song.

Thanks you for trying but when I do as you say (tap the “more” part) it just takes me to the same list as I would see if i clicked above (a reduced list of songs which only have the heart for liked songs next to them)

lol i just realised that if i click the heart button i also get a menu letting me remove songs
