My Question or Issue

The function "add to queue" for podcasts has disappeared from the app.

Hey @Henrikofad,

 

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

 

Would you mind trying each of the following steps?

  1. Restart the Spotify app. 

  2. Log out and back in. 

  3. Check the app is up-to-date.

  4. Reinstall the app.

Note: After reinstalling, you'll need to re-download any music you had made available for offline listening.

 

Let us know if any of those does the trick. We'll look out for your reply!

I tried all your suggestions, however I still have the same problem.

 

The "Add to que" option has simply disappeared from the app.  It used to be in the same menu as "mark as played", "add to playlist" etc.

 

Btw, deleting the app deleted all my listening history....

Sorry to hear the suggestions didn't work. Regarding your listening history, to clarify, some info (like your Search results) will be removed with the app when you delete it but your Recently Played or the listening-data contributing to your Made for You playlists stay untouched. At this point, it'd be good to try with a thorough (as opposed to a simple) reinstall of the app.

 

It'd also be good to access a different Spotify account with the same iPhone XS you've had this issue with to see if you can reproduce it. This will help us confirm if the issue is related to the device or the account itself.

seems to be a known deficiency that you can view a queue of songs but you cannot view a queue of podcasts. seems a bit silly! 🙂

We can confirm that it's possible to add a podcast episode in the queue.

 

If you're having trouble doing that - could you please confirm if you followed the steps provided above from @Mario?
