Update removes playlist tracks from search results

Update removes playlist tracks from search results

Hi there!

After the latest update, the search function no longer takes my own playlists into account. I.e. I no longer get results from my local playlists on top of other search results. Before the update, searching for "Billy Joel" would get me "Billy Joel - Piano Man" up top, as this track is in one of my playlists. Now though, Spotify completely disregards my playlists.

Please bring back this function, as it was a very welcome way of quickly finding songs when I'd forgotten which playlist they were in. While on the subject of weird design choices; removing the radio button was kind of a misstep in my opinion. It used to be at the top of every playlist, readily available, but is now hidden away in the playlist submenu.

(Also, if songs that are stored in playlists appear in search results, why not display what playlists they're currently in as well?)

Best Regards!

Wondering have you got the new searching?

For me searching for an artist seems to give me the same results as ever (with the ones in a playlist at the top)! Would it be able to get a screenshot?

Certainly. Here is one screenshot of a random playlist, and a screenshot of a search result screen. Before the update, such a search would have returned Depeche Mode's "Dream On" as the top track, but instead shows only tracks I haven't added.
