Upgraded, but still on free account on IOS.

Upgraded, but still on free account on IOS.

I upgraded my Spotify account via Spotify.com. Installed the Spotify app on iOS, but it is still coming up as a free account. I have uninstalled / reinstalled the app, with no success.

i have tried contactingspotify via their support system, but I never receive a response, just a customer satisfaction survey a couple of days later with a ticket number.

I'm wondering if this is an issue because I subscribed directly rather than via the App Store?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi,
The same happened to me, and I'm still awaiting an answer.
Hope everything works out!

Hi zenemu,

Are you still having problem with this? If yes, please send me your spotify user name and I will try to help you.

Regarding your email to support:

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.

If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.
