Upgraded to Premium on iPhone 5-won't work

Upgraded to Premium on iPhone 5-won't work

I recently started my 30-day Premium trial about 3 days ago, and it still won't let me search-"only premium users..." I've checked my subscription and done a re-installation and it still doesn't work. Please Help 😞

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

 

Can you try logging out, restarting your device and then logging in again? 

Also, can you double check your account is on premium on your online overview?

Thx for the quick response-just logged out, restarted, logged in--still wont let me search-"only premium users...". My overview says I have an active premium subscription 😞 As i said b4, ive also tried the re-installation trick, still nothing. Anything else?

That is very strange! Are you definitely logging in using the correct details on the app (using a Spotify username and password rather than an email address if you have one)? 

 

I know its a pain, but can you try the reinstall again?

Nothing worked. But here's the thing-I hav 2 FB accounts, and i hav the app on both i think. My iPhone is connected to one of my FB accounts, so when I "login with FB", it uses that information. However, when I logged in using Spotify details, I had to use the email address connected to my other FB account. Regardless, neither one is allowing me to use Premium. I'm concerned because I've put all of my credit card info in-is there a way to just start from scratch or something? Is that what I need to do? Also, I installed again-nothing 😞

Who's your Spotify Star?

I am having this same problem.  I am using Spotify to build playlists for Events that i go to but I can't get the playlists to stream from my iPhone 5.  It says I am not a Premium member but I can stream radio for free.  I don't want to stream radio.  I want to get to my Playlists.  What's the point of having a Premium membership if I can't get to my playlists?  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling.  Could someone from Spotify please help me?  I REALLY need to get to my Playlists via my iPhone!!!
